The block implements the calculation of the input signal sign according to the following algorithm:
where u(t), y(t) are input and output vector signals. In the case of a vector input signal, the block calculates the sign of each of the elements of the input vector:
where ui(t), yi(t) are the i-th elements of the input and output vector signals u(t), y(t), n≥2 is the dimension of the input signal.
