The block calculates the current signal along the q-axis corresponding to the specified motor torque (Me). The current value can be calculated in absolute or relative units.
The block calculates the torque-generating current component "
Iq" using the following formula:
where:
- iSq — projection of the stator current vector on the q-axis,
- Inorm — normalizing current values,
- Mnorm — normalizing torque values,
- Zp — the number of motor pole pairs,
- ψR — rotor flux linkage,
- Lm — the magnetizing inductance,
- LσR — rotor leakage inductance.
If you set the normalizing values of the torque (Mnorm) and current (Inorm) to "1", then the calculation of the current component "Iq" will be performed in absolute units [A].
