The block is designed to simulate a linear piezoelectric actuator without taking into account saturation. The actuator consists of a set of identical piezoelectric plates sandwiched between the electrodes (Figure 1).

The direction of extension of the piezoelectric element is taken as the positive direction of the force FR. The positive voltage direction is taken as the direction from port "+" to port "-".
