The block is designed to simulate a rope. The extension of the rope is simulated by a viscoelastic tension force, the slacking of the rope is characterized by zero force.

The block allows you to specify the condition under which the rope will be considered tensioned:
  • Under the condition of tension "SR > SC", the rope will be considered tensioned if the linear position of the body at the port "R" SR in meters exceeds the linear position at the port "C" SC in meters by more than the value of the initial slack L, m:

    In this case, a negative force will be applied to the port "R", and a positive force will be applied to the port "C".
  • Under the condition of tension "SC > SR", the rope will be considered tensioned if the linear position of the body at the port "C" SC in meters exceeds the linear position at the port "R" SR in meters by more than the value of the initial slack L, m:

    In this case, a positive force will be applied to the "R" port, and a negative force will be applied to the "C" port.
