The block is designed to simulate a rigid connection of two translatory moving bodies. The block is described by the following kinematic relations:





where:
  • sC and sR – positions of bodies at ports "C" and "R", respectively, m
  • vC and vR – speeds at ports "C" and "R", respectively, m/s
  • aC and aR – accelerations at ports "C" and "R", respectively, m/s2

To satisfy the kinematic relations, the block determines the torques applied to the ports "C" and "R", solving the coupling equation.
