The block implements the solution of the equation (system of equations) of transport transfer of a decaying scalar substance of the form:

under the assumption that the transport rate of the scalar substance is constant within the site for each moment of time under boundary conditions
and initial conditions
In the equation yi(t) is the transported scalar substance, ui(t) is the transport rate, L is the length of the scalar substance transportation (transfer) section, and x is the spatial coordinate. After entering the dimensionless spatial coordinate Z=x/L and the instantaneous time of transport of the scalar substance within the section τi(t)=L/ui(t), the equation is written as follows:
and the initial conditions take the form:
Mandatory сondition τi(t)>0

Inputs

  • y(0,t) - signal corresponding to the value of scalar substance at the entrance to the transportation section yi(0,t)=ui(t);
  • τ(t) - signal corresponding to the value of instantaneous time of transfer of scalar substance within the transportation section τi(t).

Outputs

  • y(1,t) - signal corresponding to the value of the scalar substance at the exit from the transportation section yi(1,t);
  • T(t) - signal corresponding to the value of the time of stay of the "mark" of the scalar substance within the transportation section Ti(t).

Properties:

  • Decay constant vector – vector of λi coefficients.
  • Initial stack size – initial array size for temporary storage of block data.

Parameters

none

Прим.: by default the block implements variable transport delay of scalar input signal.
