The block transmits to the analog output the value of the first input (x1) if translation is allowed (if the input x2 has a value of 1) and if the signal value x₁ is within the range between the maximum and minimum value set by the signals at the inputs x3 and x4, respectively. If the value of the signal is out of the range x4÷x3, then the signal at the output acquires the value of either the upper limit (x3) or the lower limit (x4), respectively. If the translation is prohibited (x2=0), then the value that was at the time of the translation prohibition is fixed at the output of the block.
