The block is a submodel (assembly). To view the structure of the algorithm, right-click Actions → Enter to the submodel. The block is a submodel with a relay operation algorithm with variable hysteresis (variable return zone) and variable deadband. The hysteresis and deadband are set by the block input signals. The output signal of the unit is non-negative, and the relay works only with a positive input signal (otherwise, zero output).
Inputs
- Signal - the signal processed by the block;
- Deadband - the width of the deadband;
- Return zone - the width of the return zone.
Outputs
- Relay output - a signal equal to +1 or 0, in accordance with the block operation algorithm.

in order to implement vector processing, the converted signals must be "compressed" into a vector input signal by means of a typical block "Multiplexer".
