The block is a relay link with a deadband. The block forms at the output a logic 1 if the input signal is has become less than the setpoint value, or logic 0 if the signal has become more than the setpoint value (taking into account the return zone, if it is set to non-zero):

where x(t) is the input signal; y(t) is the output signal; a, x0 is the value of the return zone and the setpoint. The block is a submodel. To view the structure of the algorithm, right-click Actions → Enter to the submodel.

Inputs
- signal - input signal.
Outputs
- releay output - output relay signal.
Properties
- Setpoint — setpoint value with which the input signal is compared. In other words, the lower switching limit of the relay link.
- Return zone — a value that is summed with the setpoint to form the upper limit of the relay link switching.
Parameters
none
