Signal less than setpoint

The block is a relay link with a deadband. The block forms at the output a logic 1 if the input signal is has become less than the setpoint value, or logic 0 if the signal has become more than the setpoint value (taking into account the return zone, if it is set to non-zero):

where x(t) is the input signal; y(t) is the output signal; a, x₀ is the value of the return zone and the setpoint. The block is a submodel. To view the structure of the algorithm, right-click Actions → Enter to the submodel.
